Sharing Objects & Folders with a Link

Regardless of the permissions and rights for different users and groups within the edu-sharing platform, you can also share file by sending a special e-mail invitation. This way users without an account for your repository can access your content.  It is possible to define an expiration date, after which the download of the file is no longer possible.

In order to share an object via link you have to be the owner of the object or have "coordinator - rights".
Objects for which you only have "viewer" rights can not be shared with external users.

Below the date restriction you can activate and use the password protection.

In the "Link to object" area you will find a check mark for activating and deactivating the link.
